In this series, Bishop Rader Johnson teaches on The 6 Principles of the Doctrine of Christ found in Hebrews 6:1–3, revealing how these core teachings form the bedrock of the entire Bible. The six principles are:
- Repentance from Dead Works
- Faith Toward God
- Doctrine of Baptisms
- Laying on of Hands
- Resurrection of the Dead
- Eternal Judgment
Bishop Johnson emphasizes that while the first four principles relate to entering into salvation and the body of Christ, the last two apply to every soul—because all will be resurrected and judged.
Using Hebrews 5:12–14, he also calls attention to the spiritual immaturity of the saints in Jerusalem—saved for nine years, yet still in need of "milk" rather than "strong meat." Their failure to hold fast to the Word serves as a warning for us today: we must grow in the knowledge and application of God's Word.
